Dr. Bailey offers comprehensive therapy services. She is a cognitive behavioral therapist, meaning she looks at how your thoughts affect how you feel and thus how you behave. Dr. Bailey believes in brief, solution-focused therapy and expects her patients to actively participate in treatment. She often gives homework and will work with a patient’s support network if necessary. She is considered to be more direct than most psychotherapists.

What to Expect the First Visit
Generally, Dr. Bailey completes a comprehensive clinical interview, which includes getting past history and current problems. The first session is also a time where Dr. Bailey and the patient can find out if they will be a good fit together. In reality, we as people don’t get along with everyone and therapy is no different. If for some reason, Dr. Bailey cannot help, she will find someone who can; it is all about the patient getting the best care possible.
If therapy is for young children, the first session is mostly spent with the parent/caregiver.
To schedule your first appointment, please request the New Patient Forms and email them to Dr. Bailey. Once you have completed the forms and sent them to Dr. Bailey, she forwards them to her biller, Seven Star Billing, who then calls to get authorization for services. Once authorization is obtained, an appointment is scheduled.
